While I probably use the term “pulling my hair out” more frequently than I should when referring to my children and their actions, I LOVE being a mommy! Seeing my children learn and grow is so amazing!
Alexia Jade; “Lexi”
Lexi was born on January 11th, 2005 at 28 weeks. She weighed 1 lb, 1 oz and was 11 inches long (about the size of a barbie). She struggled and fought but her lungs were just not strong enough and on January 16th, 2005 I said goodbye to my tiny angel.
Michael Kincaid; “Caid”
Kincaid was born on December 26th, 2007 by scheduled cesarean delivery at 37 weeks. He weighed 5 lbs, 12 oz and was 18 inches long. He is the epitome of the “monkey toddler” and a wonderfully happy little boy (who will probably give me gray hair by the time his next birthday rolls around)!
Emree Alexandra; “Emmie”
Emree was our little miracle baby. We were handed the worst predictions, consequences and solutions when it came to the pregnancy. She is a little fighter and came into the world on August 20th, 2010 by scheduled cesarean delivery at 36 weeks. She weighed 5 lbs, 5 oz and was 17 inches long. After a very brief stay in the NICU she was brought back to me and was wonderfully healthy! I think she effectively gave the finger to the staff at the hospital who said she wouldn’t survive the pregnancy.
